Meet Philippine Theatre UK
Philippine Theatre UK is a community theatre group based in the heart of London. We produce various original theatre productions (in English) each year. It is open to anyone interested in acting, production, theatre design and management.
We provide free training and workshops in acting, team building, creativity, self-confidence, leadership, theatre design and stage management using theatre arts. PTUK is a non-profit organisation with excess funds donated to charities in the UK and Philippines. The membership is open to all nationalities!

Ramon Castillanes Teñoso
Founder · Playwright · Film & Artistic DirectorKnown as “Direk or Chie,” Ramon is a British-Filipino playwright who started writing plays at age 13. He has written 31 unique original plays and 2 adaptations — ranging from drama, musical, comedy to horror-fantasy.
First Filipino awarded a management training position by the Independent Theatre Council, UK. Awards include Outstanding Ogtonganon 2018, Arts and Culture Award London 2023, and Outstanding Ilonggo 2023.
His short film KATAGMAN (2022) earned 35 international awards including Cannes World Film Festival – Best Director and Tokyo Film Festival – Best Production Design.
